Have you verified your Facebook fan page?
Verified Pages appear in the top search results, so if you haven’t done so yet, now is the time to do it.
To verify a fan page follow these steps:
- go to the page you need to check
- click the “Settings” link on the right side of the top menu
- if the item “Page verification” in the right column of the “General” section is “Page not verified” click on it
- then click on the link “Check this page”
You have two possibilities to verify the page:
- by phone number
- via documents
Checking the page by phone number
If you choose this option you agree to receive an automatic call from Facebook to the number indicated above and you will accept the charge of the costs arising from your telephone operator.
How to proceed:
- on the screen that appears, enter your phone number and click “Call me now”
- you will receive a call in which you will be given the verification code
- enter the verification code on the next screen and click “Continue”
- Ok, you’re done
In this case, if the procedure is successful, the verification is immediate.

If you opt for this option you can verify the page by sending one of the following documents:
- Business utilities or telephone bills
- Corporate License
- Tax return
- Establishment certificate
- Statute of limited company
How to proceed:
- Choose the document
- Upload the file in one of these formats: .doc, .docx, .pdf, .jpg, .jpeg, .png
- Click on the “send document” button
- Ok, you’re done
Once the document has been sent, the following screen will appear.
In this case, however, if the procedure is successful you will receive an email and a notification in your account within a few days from Facebook with the following message.
